Central African Republic Needs the World Right Now
The Central African Republic is one of the world's most forgotten crises. Decades of conflict, displacement, and extreme poverty have left over 2.3 million people in urgent need — yet international attention rarely reaches Bangui, let alone the Ouham, Nana-Mambéré, or Sangha-Mbaéré prefectures.
Share Hope Worldwide has been present in the CAR since 2008. We work alongside local leaders, community health workers, and teachers to deliver programs that address the root causes of vulnerability — clean water, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
We believe the people of Centrafrique are not defined by their suffering — they are defined by their resilience, their community, and their hope for a better tomorrow.
Our Core Programs
Every program is designed with and for CAR communities — addressing the crisis's most urgent needs while building long-term resilience.
Clean Water & WASH
Over 32% of CAR's population lacks safe water. We rehabilitate boreholes, build latrines, and train community hygiene promoters across Bangui, Bossangoa, and Kaga-Bandoro.
Education for All
41% of CAR children have no access to learning. We build and rehabilitate schools, train teachers, and provide learning materials in conflict-affected prefectures.
Community Health
CAR has one of the world's highest under-5 mortality rates. Our mobile clinics and trained community health workers reach villages that have never seen a doctor.
Displacement Support
Hundreds of thousands of Centrafricans are internally displaced. We provide emergency shelter kits, NFIs, and reintegration support to families returning home.
Child Protection
Thousands of CAR children have been recruited by armed groups, separated from families, or orphaned. We run child-friendly spaces, psychosocial support, and family reunification programs.
